Let me modify what I said in the above. The link works, I just can’t get it to open up in a new window. I have the selection for “New Window” in the setting for the image. Before, I was not entering in the link information in the bottom of the settings panel because I was not seeing a “New Window” setting for that, so I was hoping the “New Window” setting in the gallery portion would do the trick. Does this capability not exist for just trying to insert an image with a link?
That website doesn’t seem to be working? If you are just looking to add a link to a single image you are much better using the standard link tools in WordPress. This plugin is designed to add links to gallery images.
Thanks John. Yes, just wanting to add a single link to an image, but have the option to open it up in another window. So obviously I am a little confused about “galleries”, and what they are, but since you distinguished between the two, I think I understand better.
I will look into the WordPress link tools. All I saw initially was a tool to link text, but not images. Will check some more.
