# lion server problems

 * Hi,
 * So my question is why can I not install plugins on lion server install of wordpress,
   or more precisely how can I get this working?
 * I have seen a couple of posts explaining why it is asking for ftp login (instance
   of wordpress not running as the same user as the owner of the files), but I don’t
   know how to set this up. I have done the dseditgroup and launchctl from terminal
   but still no joy.
 * how do I find out who wordpress is running as? Can I change who wordpress runs
   as?
 * please help!

 * hey songdog,
 * thanks for that, I was missing this
    sudo chown -R _www ~/Sites/wordpress ; sudo
   chmod -R g+w ~/Sites/wordpress
 * worked like a charm!
