# live username availability checking?

 * Hello,
 * Issue: I am testing it in wordpress multisite:
 * the profile page does not replace the wordpress default page:
 * since url of profile page is [http://www.mysite.com/profile](http://www.mysite.com/profile)
   
   but the wordpress profile page is [http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile](http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile).
 * two feature would be much competitive:
 * 1.#when user register, we always do not know which username are available, so
   live username availability checking is much great when trying input a username.
 * 2#after login redirect user back to the previous or original page.
 * what you think?

 * About the profile page, do you have a link on your theme that takes to the backend
   profile? [http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile](http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile).
 * Normally we rewrite them to use the front end profile, let us know.

 * Sorry for my incorrect expression above, the wordpress default profile url is
   [http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile.php](http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/profile.php)
 * In order to avoid misunderstandings each other, I would like show details:
 * For now, I am using Login with Ajax:[https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/),
   and It will show to user profile link which is wordpress default, please check
   at [http://prntscr.com/hdylwa](http://prntscr.com/hdylwa), once click “profile”,
   it does not redirect user to Userwp profile page, I mean it will still let user
   enter backend profile.

 * Thanks, I used the last one:
 * > Multisite – Not network active – can be activated on a per site basis
   > In this mode, you activate the plugin in each site instead of activating network
   > wide.
   > This works exactly like the single site.
   > In other words a separate UsersWP plugin related tables are created for each
   > site. For other modes single tables are used.
   > Steps to activate:
   > Visit either subdomain.example.com/wp-admin/plugins.php or example.com/subfolder/
   > wp-admin/plugins.php
   >  and then click the “Activate” link
