 * Hello!
    Is it possible to create a custom loading indicator for the `amp-image`
   component? Tried an example from AMP’s official [GitHub page](https://github.com/ampproject/amp.dev/blob/future/examples/source/multimedia-animations/Custom_Loading_Indicators.html)
   but it looks like CSS is not applied at all. I can’t even set `display:none`
   to `.amp-active` div
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Floader-styling%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@egornmore](https://wordpress.org/support/users/egornmore/)
 * Thank you for contacting us, I am not sure if that’s possible I will recommend
   checking with [AMP upstream (framework) support](https://amp.dev/support)
 * In case the amp-img takes time to load we will recommend checking `placeholder`
   attribute
 * Please learn about placeholder and fallback using [this documentation ](https://amp.dev/documentation/guides-and-tutorials/develop/style_and_layout/placeholders)
 * We hope this helps!

 * [@milindmore22](https://wordpress.org/support/users/milindmore22/) In the official
   [documentation ](https://amp.dev/documentation/examples/multimedia-animations/custom_loading_indicators/)
   it says
 * > This indicator is used by amp-list, amp-iframe, amp-video, and any other components
   > that talk to an endpoint.
 * , the `amp-image` component doesn’t talk to an endpoint, right?

 * No, amp-img doesn’t use an endpoint.
