    Hi!

    My page had good grades on the google speed test. When I installed this plugin I got this recommandation:
    Preload key requests – Consider using <link rel=preload> to prioritize fetching resources that are currently requested later in page load. – the only resource lighthouse has problems with is lity.css Estimated time saving is over 1sec.
    I got a quite big penalty for this. Is there a way I can do something to solve it?

    Hi @veralinn,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    By default our plugin first checks (using JavaScript) if the Lity lightbox is defined and used by your theme or any of the active plugins.
    If the Lity lightbox is not loaded by your site, our plugin will load the lightbox from the plugin folder by JavaScript. This means the preload you’ve suggested by you can’t fix the problem.

    For this reason, we have implemented an extra hook to the latest version of the plugin (3.1.0) to prevent loading the lightbox by JavaScript, please add the following code snippet to your functions.php and the lightbox assets will be enqueued by JavaScript:

    add_action( 'gdpr_enqueue_lity_nojs', '__return_false' );

    Hi!
    Sorry, I didn’t see the answer fore some reason.
    It’s not me, who made the suggestion. I’m not that good 🙂 It’s the google site speed tool. It is working! Thank you for the fast answer and solution.
