# Loading the player…

 * This is a great plugin — when it works… About 80% of the time (maybe closer to
   90%), when my page loads, I get the message “Loading the player…” and that’s 
   as far as it gets. I know I have the right URL, etc., because if I reload the
   page repeatedly, the player will eventually come up — and then it works beautifully.
   I can understand if the video itself won’t load (i.e., if there’s a slow connection),
   but why is the player so cantankerous? What’s going on? Is there some setting(
   s) I need to be looking at? All our videos are self-hosted, using the Amazon 
   CloudFront CDN. I really, really want to use this plugin because the player looks
   so nice (and works well too, when it eventually loads). Actually, it has worked
   well before, but this is the first video I’ve posted in several months. Help 
   please.
