# Localhost Cannot Log In

 * Hi,
 * The other day I was unable to login in to WordPress via localhost so I deleted
   and re-installed WP and was able to access my site yesterday. Today however, 
   I am unable to login again. I get this message:
 * ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output. For help, please see this
   documentation or try the support forums.
 * I am using the latest version of Firefox.
 * Also, I get no response when I try to click on the “lost password” button.
 * I have enabled cookies in my browser.
 * What could be wrong? Thanks. This is very frustrating.

 * A couple of things:
    1. As a workaround, are you able to try a different browser?
    2. Have a look at [this topic](http://codex.wordpress.org/Cookies) in Codex. It
       appears that after [Ticket 27373](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27373),
       you are getting a specific error that isn’t about cookies being enabled or disabled,
       but [something else](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_do_I_solve_the_Headers_already_sent_warning_problem.3F).
 * Try some of the things mentioned in that third link, and see how you go.

 * I have tried Safari and Chrome….same thing.
 * I will check out the links that you have provided and see what I can find out.
