# localhost issue

 * Hey guys i wonder if you could help me this this problem i am having.
 * I have installed wordpress on my local apache server and mysql db with no problems.
   i can go to:
 * [http://localhost/wordpress](http://localhost/wordpress)
 * and the front page comes up fine, however, if i try and access [http://localhost/wordpress/wp-login.php](http://localhost/wordpress/wp-login.php)
   it trys to resolve it as [http://www.localhost.com/wordpress/wp-login.php](http://www.localhost.com/wordpress/wp-login.php)
   which obviously does not work
 * this also happens on all other files except the main index. i have tried using
   the ip address both external and internal and still no luck.
 * All other locally hosted sites such as joomla and other cms systems are all accessable
   and work fine on localhost. its just wordpress.
 * anyone had the same problem or can help at all please..

    are both url’s correct?

 * unfortunatly im not able to access the admin pages due to this issue, however
   i have checked the sql database where i could see 2 entrys and they do appear
   correct

    maybe review this just

   php, mysql & phpmyadmin

 * windows vista home premium x86 not that it makes any differance to the problem
   of course
