# Localhost problem. Can’t access wordpress

 * Hello,
 * I am having a problem using wordpress on my computer after downloading it via
   ftp to my localhost (xampp).
 * The directory that i have downloaded is the exact same as the one on the web 
   host. [http://www.worldsmostwantedtshirt.com](http://www.worldsmostwantedtshirt.com)
 * [http://localhost/tshirt/wp-admin/](http://localhost/tshirt/wp-admin/)
 * displays the following message in my browser:
 * Error establishing a database connection
 * This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at p50mysql175.
   secureserver.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
 *  * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that
   you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server 
   is running?
 * If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host.
   If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
 * [http://localhost/tshirt/](http://localhost/tshirt/) displays the following message:
 * Error establishing a database connection
 * I would like to work on localhost and upload to my the once I can completed the
   site.
 * Please advise.
