 * Hi all, long time reader, first time poster…
 * I’m not sure if this is exactly the right area to be posting this, but here goes
   anyway.
 * I’m looking to implement WP as a general CMS for a client who manufactures products
   to distribute world-wide. The site will not be an e-commerce site, simply an 
   informational site only.
 * I plan to create a post for every product in their range, where each post (product)
   would come under 1 of the 4 main product categories.
 * The clients product range is different for each of the countries they distribute
   to, however in a lot of cases there is overlap where some products are available
   in all countries and likewise, some products are only available in 1 or 2 countries.
 * Ideally I would like to have it where a visitor comes to the front page of the
   site and is prompted to select their country. Based on the visitors selection,
   the posts available to them are then filtered by their selection.
 * My initial thought (on top of the other 4 primary product categories) was to 
   have a parent “country” category associated with each post, with sub-categories
   for each country they distribute to.
 * Inside the loop, I would make the call to get posts, but this call would be set
   to only display posts that are associated with the country the visitor initially
   selected.
 * I’ve been searching around and I think utilising a session that stores the country
   selection would be the best way to keep track of this. I’m wondering if anyone
   can think of an easier way or it is even worth doing it like this in the first
   place.
 * I’m open to any suggestions / feedback.
