# locations don’t work well

 * strange issue: the users do fill in their own locations, and in the wordpress
   backend, i do see them. But at the front end, all users have my own location 
   in their buddypress profile.
 * anybody any idea?

 * Sounds like an issue specific to your site.
    Try removing any customization of
   BP profiles. Also try switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2016.

 * It appeared to be the buddypress checkin plugin was the problem.
