@lward2309 – My guess is that the lockout has already expired, as the default is set to 1 hour, but if not you can always ftp in to your site, navigate to wp-content/plugins, and rename the login-lockdown folder temporarily. This would allow you to log in with your new password, and then you can rename the plugin to it’s original name. Please let me know if you still can’t get in for whatever reason.

@mvandemar
Hello mvandemar
Thank-you for your help, it is very much appreciated!
I can now access the login page, however it’s saying my login details are incorrect. I have asked it again to send me a password via e-mail (i’m sure i’m putting in the right one as i noted it down when i created it) but i am never getting any e-mails
i’ve had this issue before (only annoyingly i can’t remember how i resolved it) – do you have any advice on what i can do?
Thanks
The emails not going out is a very hosting-specific issue unfortunately. If you like I can try and take a quick look, no promises though. You can drop me a line at michael at endless poetry dot com, no spaces.
I am going to mark this as resolved, since Login LockDown is not part of the issue now.

I installed the plugin on a couple of sites last week. I didn’t forget my password but after even one attempt it locks me out and makes me wait 60 minutes. Then 60 minutes later I try again, and am immediately locked out again. This has been going on for days. I did not set the plug in to lock out after one failed attempt so I don’t know why this is happening? I’m petty sure the password is correct. Maybe my version of wp is too new? Any ideas? Thanks!~
