# Log files missing

 * For some reason I can no longer see any log files for the backups on my site 
   kirstengoss.co.za
 * Is there a setting somewhere that turns this off? I can’t find one?
 * How can I get my log files back?

 * Hello,
 * I am sorry to hear about this. There is not a specific setting that turns the
   visibility of the log files on and off. 
   If the backups are available in the **
   Backup / Restore** >> **Existing backups **section but the log files are not,
   it usually means one of the following:
    - The log files have been deleted from the **wp-content / updraft** folder
    - The backups have been deleted and later rescanned from storage or uploaded
      directly
 * In either of these cases unfortunately I do not think it would be possible to
   get them back.
