Hi,
How did you manage to make a booking like that in the first place?
Starts: 1st January 2025, 10:00
Ends: 31st January 2025, 16:00
Did you set “Strict Check for Manual Entries” to No?
Cheers,
Hakan
Yes, “Strict check…” is set to No.
Please don’t do that.
Apparently you are trying to block several days. Normally you should be using a full day service to do that. When you use a service lasting 1-12 hours, WP BASE will not allow configuring so many days.
By disabling “Strict Check for Manual Entries”, you can make such a manual booking, but by doing so you are also disabling any kind of manual entry protection and the resulting booking record is not actually blocking those days.
When you set “Strict Check for Manual Entries” as No, you should always check the result at the front end.
To block several days in a month, you should be using another service which has a duration of 24 hours or longer. You can also use Holidays or Limited Availability instead, which are actually better solutions.
Cheers,
Hakan
OK, I understand. What I really intended to do was to help a client create a booking from 10:00 to 16:00 every day in January. How can I accomplish that except creating 31 individual bookings for each day`?
We do have a premium addon, Recurring Appointments for that: https://wp-base.com/downloads/recurring-appointments/
This is a onetime shot and we do not want to let our clients do any recurring bookings. So I guess that my only option is to make 31 individual bookings or buy the addon just for this special booking and then disable it,,,,,,,,
Set your working hours so that only 10:00-11:00 is available (or whatever time you want the bookings to be at). Close all days until the first booking date using Limited Availability or Holidays
Create your first booking on the first day. Then using Rebook button, you can create the rest 29 bookings in less than 5 minutes.
