 * Hi,
 * I have been looking but not getting anywhere. Could anyone tell me where I can
   find the plugins or scripts that
    1. Allow you to display the names/links of
   the commenters near comments such as used here: [http://tcal.net/](http://tcal.net/)
   and 2. Keeping the name of the commenter in store so it shows a welcome back
   message on returning to make another comment as used here: [http://www.brokenkode.com/archives/manji-live-preview/#comments](http://www.brokenkode.com/archives/manji-live-preview/#comments)
 * Thanks if you can help out 🙂

 * 2. WP already stores this info on a cookie., the only thing is you need to learn
   how to use that.

 * Shadow,
    The welcome back message is done via JavaScript. As Sadish mentioned,
   it reads the cookie set by WordPress to do this. Hopefully someone who knows
   exactly how will point you in the right direction.

 * Thanks Sadish.
 * 1. Great:)
 * 2. I understand that information is stored on a cookie in most instances. However,
   on Khaled’s site and a few others I have come across, there is a javascript in
   place [I think], which hides the fields altogether so that I can see a welcome
   message instead.
 * Unless you have made a comment it will not show.
 * NM: Snap:)
