Looking for feedback!

I am looking for ways to make my blog better. I really don’t know how to use any of the code, and I am completly confused on where I should put the code if I do find something i like. You can be critical, but if you get to technical, I probably won’t know what you are talking about.

I would like to change my header, and make it more appealing, however I really don’t know how to do this without making my own header on Photoshop. Also how do I know what the size of the header should be, and how it will be controlled by different web browsers.

Any help would be great at this point thanks!
