 * I have a site I am using for a simple community / cms site.
 * Users will be registered.
 * I need:
 * A way for users to upload files WITHOUT having to go to the dashboard.
 * For example, on a page about documents of type X, I want a button that says “
   upload a document of type x”, and they can upload it.
 * Worse to worse, even a upload widget, where they could select from a predefined
   category for the document would be fine.
 * Possible file types are:
    pdf files, excel files, word documents, sound files,
   images etc.
 * Then I want this to be content the users can retrieve.
    If I have to do some 
   admin to put make the content available, that is ok, but not preferred.
 * Also, no, I do not want to put the files on some file storage service, the whole
   point is to be able to attach files to wp enabled content.
    Perhaps this is not
   possible in the current tool.
 * I have searched around a bit, but most uploaders are for working in the dashboard,
   an interface I do not want to have to teach my users.
    (easy user experience 
   and information retrieval is one of the reasons I am using wp).
 * any suggestions?
