# Loopback Failed

 * I have about 70 sites that have the AGCA plugin on them that generates the following
   critical issue through Tools > Site Health:
 * Your site could not complete a loopback request.
 * Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the 
   built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.
 * The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them
   are not currently working as expected.
    Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed
   out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
 * —
    Disabling the plugin makes the loopback requests work again and my health 
   has no critical errors. I have a few different servers and they all have/give
   the same result. This seemed to start happening around 5.1 or 5.2 – not sure.

   is not marked as resolved but points to [this one](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/loopback-issue-2/),
   which is marked as resolved. However, the issue is not resolved as of AGCA Version
   6.5.4 for me. Perhaps it’s a regression. I’ve been running into a number of cron
   issues.

 * This developer, Doug Wollison, fixed his plugin and stated the following:
 * > … it was due to the remote login feature initializing a session regardless 
   > of if the feature was enabled or not, which was causing ajax requests to hang.

 * I have the exact same problem, and I see no follow up to your suggestion for 
   a possible solution.

 * [@b777](https://wordpress.org/support/users/b777/) No. I don’t use this plugin
   anymore but created my own to handle everything it was handling and more. It’s
   too child-theme specific to offer to the general public, however. Plus, I can’t
   guarantee security for others, etc.
 * I’m turning off being notified of follow-ups on this.
