# Loopback requests

 * After updating to wordpress 5.6 I got the following error message.
 * Loopback requests are used to execute scheduled events, and are also used by 
   the built-in editors for themes and plugins to check the stability of the code.
 * The loopback request to your website has failed, which means that functions that
   rely on it are currently not working as expected.
    Error: cURL error 28: operation
   aborted after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed).
 * Do you know why?

 * I just installed the WordPress Native PHP Sessions Plugin and this seems to solve
   the problem.

 * Hey.
 * I’m glad that you fixed this problem. But where you found, that request was to
   our site? Our plugin doesn’t make HTTP requests to our site.
 * If this is from the Tools > Site Health. I can’t reproduce this issue on our 
   server. Loopback just working fine.
