# Loosing HTML code While Editing Post/Page

 * When adding line space to my posts and pages (IE: <div style=”height:20px;”></
   div> ) I noticed that once you go from HTML view in the edit window, to Visual
   view and then back to HTML that line of code just vanishes from the the page.
 * I don’t know why it seems to be just this line that is taken out. I have even
   un-checked the option under settings>writing> to have WP auto correct invalid
   XHTML code etc. But I don’t see a problem with the syntax.
 * Could I be wrong?

 * If you want to use markup, stick to the HTML tab and do not switch back to the
   Visual Editor. The latter is designed to remove all markup.
