# lost css

 * After activation of AO sometimes (very rarely) my site [https://solid-narzedzia.pl/](https://solid-narzedzia.pl/)
   loses its css and it looks like this:

 * I would appreciate your help in this matter.

 * You currently seem to have CSS-optimization off [@leobullero](https://wordpress.org/support/users/leobullero/),
   so can’t look at what might be happening.
 * This typically happens when clearing Autoptimize’s cache but having a page cache
   that has HTML in cache that still refers to the removed AO CSS (or JS) files.
   Could this be what was happening?

 * Thank you for your prompt reply! We switched off CSS-optimization, but I think
   you are right: this happened after clearing Autoptimize’s cache. What is the 
   solution?

 * the solution is to make sure that any page cache you might have (by a page caching
   plugin or provided by your hoster) is also purged.
