# Lost data

 * Hi there,
 * I installed Monster insites onto a website of mine and it had gathered all data
   from the past month
    eg [https://prnt.sc/y04vu6](https://prnt.sc/y04vu6) ( It
   wasn’t howvever appearing in Google insights but it was showing in the backend)
   of the website
 * I then I went back to check the insites and it all disappeared [https://prnt.sc/y058ed](https://prnt.sc/y058ed)
 * I tried to restore to a back up and it still isnt showing ( even though I had
   just seen it)
 * Please let me know if there is anyway to get back this lost data?

 * MonsterInsights reads in data from your connect Google Analytics property. There
   needs to be data in your GA property for it to display in your MonsterInsights
   reports.
 * Did you log into your Google Analytics account and check your website’s property
   to see if there is data in there for that date range 2-31 January 2021?
 * If there’s data in your GA property for those dates, then in your MonsterInsights
   settings try to **force **a disconnect first, then reconnect? Here’s where to
   do that.
