 * I’ve received some great advice here, but upon installing the child theme I built
   I’ve lost all access to the original theme. Is there any workaround?

 * Hi [@stlcardsfan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/stlcardsfan/),
 * You can copy all settings to child theme in wp admin => onepress theme => action
   required tab : [https://cl.ly/372K41020N2M](https://cl.ly/372K41020N2M)
 * Hope it helps!

 * It does, but the colors don’t transfer over :/

 * No, but I’ll try that.
 * What I can’t figure out is how to run the navbar along the base of the header.
   I don’t want it to float right as I’ve added a contact number there(allow for
   that. A header needs a call to action on every site.). The navbar is basically
   sandwiched between the logo and the phone number. I”ve scoured different CSS
   forums for the answer and I don’t want to screw with the parent theme. I don’t
   know what to add here.
