 * Somehow after updating WordPress to 4.3.1 and updating the plugin and the theme…
ALL of my custom sidebars DISAPPEARED! I had like 30 of them. I have many backups,
both database and files…can you please tell me where the actual sidebars /custom
sidebar information is stored at so I can see if I can put it back. I went to
Widgets and looked…they aren’t even listed anymore. If I start restoring stuff
to try to get back sidebars, I lose a lot of more important information, but
it would take a LOOOONG time to attempt to recreate them. What I had was a gallery
of individual personal profiles and each page with an individual’s biography
had it’s own sidebar…it’s a shame I have to go through this now. Any ideas…ANYBODY???
   please?

 * I should have mentioned my theme is a childtheme from Catch Everest by catch
   themes.

 * Well it sure pays to have backups, that’s all I can say!! No responses yet…but
if anyone is interested…I had a backup database in my phpmyadmin since before
all the updates…and I found my sidebars in the options table, with an option_name
of cs_sidebars. Somehow the row got deleted in the new database after the updates…
so I checked the option_id (searched for it) and since it didn’t exist, and since
it wasn’t there when I sorted by name in alphabetical order, I copied the option
from the old database to the new one. Voila! All my sidebars are back! (I really
didn’t want to do research on 30 individuals’ social media internet information
again…it took weeks to acquire originally!)
 * My sidebars still aren’t showing up on the posts…but I figure it’s easier to
load each post and switch out the sidebar than it would be find that in the database…
so moving forward…> (thanks for reading…maybe this will help someone in the future)
