# Lost Super Admin after web attack

 * My web site was hacked and the administrators usernames and passwords changed.
   I changed them again through the admin data base via cpanel. I now have access
   to all my sites except the main multisite install and the superadmin user has
   been reduced to admin. What can I do to get it back?

 * I a similar way, you’ll be back into the db via cpanel:
 * If you want an existing username “sctsystemic” to have superadmin powers:
 *     ```
       Browse: wp_sitemeta
   
       meta_key: site_admins
   
       meta_value: a:1:{i:0;s:11:"sctsystemic";}
       ```
