 * sorry you’ve lost me
   Can’t edit jobs, existing jobs were changed during update,
   can’t rename jobs, can’t have multiple custom jobsPresumably you want to dumb
   down the free version so more people have to pay for pro version to get the features
   they want. But this debacle means I have no confidence in your plugin anymore
   so if I have to pay it will definitely be for a different backup plugin.

 * Hi [@njwp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/njwp/),
 * We completely understand your frustration, and we’re sorry that this update has
   impacted your workflow. Our goal was to simplify the plugin, but we recognize
   that it removed key functionalities that many users relied on.
 * We’ve already restored custom scheduling and backup history, and we’re actively
   working on bringing back multiple custom jobs and job editing to give users more
   flexibility again. This is a priority for us, and we appreciate your patience
   as we continue improving.
 * Our intention was never to eliminate the free version or restrict its functionality
   to this extent. BackWPup is designed to provide full backups, whether you’re
   using the Free or Pro version.
 * If you prefer the previous setup while we work on these updates, you can roll
   back to 4.1.7 here: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/advanced/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/advanced/).
 * We truly value your feedback and hope to earn back your trust as we refine BackWPup.

 * Hi [@njwp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/njwp/),
 * Just wanted to follow up with some good news since your last comment.
 * With version 5.1 now out, you can once again create multiple backup jobs — each
   with its own title, schedule, and storage destination. It’s a big step toward
   restoring the flexibility many users missed, and we’re continuing to improve
   things from here.
 * We’re also working on making job migration from older versions smoother, so if
   you give the latest version a try, we’d love to hear if it brings back the experience
   you valued.
 * Once again, we appreciate your feedback, which has guided us in the right direction.
