# lost visual editing capabilities

 * When I edit a file, the visual editor is grayed out and I can only edit using
   the html editor.
 * How can I get the visual editor back?

 * No – this is another problem.
 * On the edit page, I can either edit using the HTML tab or the Visual editor tab.
 * The visual editor tab is grayed out. Is there a plugin I need to activiate or
   a setting I need to turn on?
