# Lost wp-config.php file from initial WP install

 * I installed Joomla yesterday. Today, WordPress says I have no wp-config.php file
   and I can’t get to my site. It appears that Joomla deleted my WordPress site.
   The web site I worked on for the last month (kuumbareport.com, with graphics,
   blogs, several pages, SEO, all of it) appears to have been deleted. **A reinstall
   of WordPress resulted in a blank site** with none of the features or content 
   I had worked on for the past month.

 * I have done that. But what I get now is a blank site. All the blogs, web pages,
   images, audio, links and everything else are gone. Is there any way to get that
   back, or did my reinstall wipe out all my last month’s work?

 * Nothing will be lost. Your work is saved in your database.
 * BTW, what do you currently have in your wp-config.php file? Did you check it?

 * I was fortunate. Bluehost was able to restore my site to where it was 24 hours
   ago.
 * Since I’m a novice at web site building, I’m scandalously ignorant about the 
   wp-config.php file in general, and I’m not sure how I would access, check and
   then recognize what should or should not be in it. I could certainly use some
   education in this area, so I won’t have to depend on others to maintain or save
   that which I should be able to do myself.
 * Since beginning this web site through Bluehost and WordPress, I’ve alternated
   from feeling stupid to feeling smart to feeling stupid again. I hope to be able
   to learn from all of you so I won’t feel so stupid so often!

   that you can learn fast. Whenever you are stuck up, you can always seek support
