# Lost/hidden text

 * I have been making some basic amends to my website. I wanted to remove borders
   and shadows which I have managed to do but I have now managed to remove the text
   from the pages. The headings are still there and the text still exists in the
   admin panel but on the website itself, the text is hidden. Is there something
   I may have changed by accident thinking it would remove shadows/borders. Thanks

   All pages have the same issue. The titles are there but not the text.

 * If you’re not using a Child Theme, and if the theme doesn’t have a designated
   section of the dashboard for CSS modifications then install this Custom CSS Manager
   plugin [http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin](http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin)
 * Then use its “CSS Code” [section of the dashboard](http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/screenshot-1.jpg?r=704634)
   to hold your CSS modifications:
 * _Alternatively use your Child Theme style.css file to hold your CSS modifications:_
