# Lottie – hover pause effect

 * Thank you for a great plugin!
 * On non-touchscreens, I can pause a Lottie animation using your hover pause effect
   by hovering my cursor over the animation. I can then unpause it by removing my
   cursor.
 * On touchscreens, I can pause it by tapping the animation. However, tapping again
   doesn’t appear to unpause it?
 * Is there some other way of unpausing the animation on touchscreens? Is there 
   a code snippet that can do it?
 * Users would expect the same behaviour across all devices so it’s a bit jarring
   if they need to refresh the page on some devices but not others in order to get
   an animation to play again.

   doing well and apologize for the delayed response.
 * I have checked the Lottie Widget as you’ve said and am successfully been able
   to reproduce the same issue in my development environment. I forwarded the issue
   to the dev team soon after being able to reproduce it. I hope a solution for 
   this issue will be brought out very soon. Till then, please stay tuned with the
   WPmet.

   doing well.
 * Let me clarify a Fact here. the Unpause on Hover feature is only for desktop 
   devices. For Mobile devices, a tap can perform that task that Hover does on a
   desktop. Now, when you are tapping a Lottie Animation from mobile devices, it
   is getting paused, but to make it work again, you need to Tap outside of the 
   container of Lottie Animation. We haven’t added the required functionalities 
   for Tapping on Lottie Animation yet. For that reason, it is the only way to make
   it work. For better understanding, kindly check [this video](https://d.pr/v/gqTgSW).
