# Mac Compatibilty

 * Hi,
 * I seem to be having a problem with a custom template that I have made.
 * All seems to be fine, except that when viewed on a Mac the comments textarea 
   spans outside of the Div. I say a Mac compatibilty issue as its the only way 
   I can replicate the problem after testing it on various versions of IE and FF.
 * After some googling and a quick sweep of this forum I am at a loss.
 * Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction as its a pretty anoying
   problem due to the fact I cant see it on my PC.
 * Any help you be greatly appriciated.

 * What browser on the Mac?
 * And yes, Firefox on a mac is slightly different than Firefox on a Windows or 
   Linux box.
 * you;re still looking at a borwser issue.

 * Ok,
 * Thats what I had gathered after some research.
 * The offending line is:
    <p><textarea name=”comment” id=”comment” cols=”90″ rows
   =”5″ tabindex=”4″></textarea></p>
 * Pretty simple stuff,
 * But PC IE and FF counts 82 colums, While Mac FF displays maybe 1 and a half times
   as many.
 * Any ideas on how to fix this?
