# Magazine Basic – Header and Slideshow Query

 * Hi, I’ve almost customised the Magazine Basic theme to the way I want it to look,
   with the exception of two things:
 * 1. How do I get a slideshow to show up on my homepage (which is set to Recent
   posts?).
 * I tried to sticky a post with a slideshow in it, but only the archive appears
   on the main page.
 * 2. I notice that the footer is a sticky footer that spreads the entire length
   of my screen, can the header be set the same way?
 * Thanks heaps for any advice you can offer me, I’ve been tearing my hair out over
   this for three days. 🙂

 * 1. That would require a plugin or some manual code manipulation. Magazine Premium
   does offer a home page slider and many more options.
 * 2. Not without moving around some HTML.
