    Hi,

I have succesfully installed WordPress and everything seems to be ok. I have only one problem. When people try to register it says it sended an email with their password to their emailaddress, but they receive nothing.

I guess it has to do with that i have hosted it on a windows machine and that i have not installed sendmail on it. However i have a (windows Mdaemon) mailserver running. Wich config can i edit so he connects to my mailserver to send the messages?

I dont want to install some sendmail hacks, because it is a clean server and i would like it that it stays that way 🙂

    Thanks for the answer.

I have looked into php.ini but the mailserveraddress was right, and my other logsite i have hosted on the same server does send email. So why not this one? I also downloaded fake sendmail, but it tells me :

if your application is installed in c:\bugzilla, sendmail.exe and
sendmail.ini need to be copied to c:\usr\lib\sendmail.exe and
    c:\usr\lib\sendmail.ini

I dont have a \usr\lib directory, cause i am on a windows machine. Any help appreciated.

Nevermind, seems i had to fix it myself

Iam facing the same issue. I installed wp on windows and whenever user registers, its not sending the mail. I d/l the sendmail to c:\sendmail but how to configure to make it to work??
    Thanks in Advance..
