# Mail problems

 * Because of mail problems under wp mail i installed WP_SMTP. Testmails worked 
   fine and other plugins with mail use also. Only contactforms do not work. They
   sent, no error message, but the mail never arrives (at Gmail or provider webmail).
   The recipient is correctly adressed.

 * Good question! I actually don’t know. Very important is off course that the password
   in direct admin for that specific mailadress corresponds with the config.php 
   file in the public_domain file. Furthermore i checked the box that mail remains
   on the webmail server. So i can check if it arrived there or not at all. When
   all is correct and in the contactform the recipients mail is correct: it should
   work. But we had a problem with a plugin Amelia tms: you can choose in that plugin
   mail thru PhP, Wpmail or SMTP. SMTP didn’t work at all. So we chose Php and this
   works fine together with SMTP for the other applications.
