# Mailchimp api key error

 * Hi, I have added a mailchimp api key, but it shows an error like this “Could 
   not validate `c375f20fbace39c2d67e29770e6287ee-us11` API key. Unknown error occurs.”
 * Could you please help me on this? Thanks

 * We checked this key on our test server and it works fine. Try to use it again.
   If the problem still appears, contact us on our support forum or by email and
   will investigate it further.

 * Check your mail please. This problem on MailChimp side. Requests from your site
   are blocked by MailChimp.
