# Mailchimp API – ‘Save Failed’

 * I have the Jeg Elementor Kit V2.6.6 installed, Mailchimp audience is also setup
   but the API key will not work. When I paste the API key, I get a ‘Save Failed’
   notification (in red) at the top right hand corner of the screen. I did see a
   thread about this, however it was prior to the latest V2.6.6 update which was
   suppose to solve the problem. 
    I tested the API key within another plugin that
   has a Mailchimp function, and it connected – I was able to select the Audience.

   you please try downgrading the plugin to version 2.6.5? You can download it from
   the link below.
