# Mailchimp Error

 * I am getting the following error with the plugin:
    Debug Log [2019-01-02 15:08:
   54] ERROR: Form 6188 > MailChimp API error: 400 Bad Request. Invalid Resource.

 * Thanks for reaching out to us.
 * The error means that your form is not sending the correct data for the FNAME &
   LNAME fields in your MailChimp list which I assume you have set as required fields
   in your MailChimp lists.
 * If these fields are not required, then
 * 1) first go to your MailChimp.com list and make the 2 fields as not required.
   2) Then login to your website, go to “MailChimp for WP” menu and click on “Renew
   MailChimp Lists” button.
 * After doing the above, test the form and let us know if it works.

 * Hi Harish,
    Did as you suggested and the signups are still not going to Mailchimp.
   Checked Mailchimp and the form has only one required (FNAME) field.
 * I have 30 new signups in my email but there are no first names (as required on
   the form).
    Mailchimp only has the original 29 signups that I migrated to them.
   The additional 30 are not going to Mailchimp.
 * Not sure why, but I did everything that was needed and even ‘connected’. Unless
   I really missed something??
 * Any other suggestions?

 * I just tested using my personal email address “me@haris…..com” and it worked 
   as expected. Can you please check?
