 * Hi there,
 * This plugin looks great. Does it work with MailChimp? How can I dynamically add
   the first name to the URL?
 * Thanks,
    Paul

 * Paul, how do you want this to work with MailChimp, like, walk us through the
   use case you’re envisioning?

 * Okay – so if I want someone to click a link in an email to go to a blog post,
   how could I say “Welcome back Paul” on the page?
 * Or when the click the link in the confirmation email, how could I say “Congratulations
   Paul!”?

 * You’d need MailChimp to include their firstname in the link. Then urlparams could
   display their name since it’ll be in the URL.
 * See this for more info:
    [http://kb.mailchimp.com/merge-tags/personalization/create-unique-campaign-urls-for-subscribers](http://kb.mailchimp.com/merge-tags/personalization/create-unique-campaign-urls-for-subscribers)
 * For your URL in MailChimp, use something like `http://mysite.com/somepost/?FirstName
   =*|FNAME|*` as that’ll then merge their first name into the URL and then urlparams
   can pick it up with `[urlparam param="FirstName]`

 * Thanks for your help! Could I also ask – is there a way to strip the “?FirstName
   =Bob” from the URL once the plugin has used it (almost like redirect or something)?
   So the URL would just look normal and users wouldn’t see the “?FirstName=Bob”
   part?
