Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
I deactivated all plug-ins and this did not solve the problem.
We use the default word press theme and switching to Twenty Ten isn’t an option.
I have no idea how to reset the plg-ins folder by FTP etc. We only have three plug-ins, and only two of them are active.
After I’ve posted the message, the text I typed doesn’t even appear in the box.
I have also noticed that I can’t preview changes or view my post, via those buttons.
