# Main Page Doesn’t Update When Publish a Page or Post

 * Hi!
    First of all, great work with the plugin. Now to the problem, I have to 
   manually purge CF cache once I publish a post/page because it doesn’t appear 
   on my website’s homepage. Is there something I’m missing?
 * I use this plugin with WP Rocket (fallback cache enabled along with WP rocket
   as said in the recommended settings).
 * The rest are default settings except for Add browser caching rules for static
   assets turned ‘enable’.
 * The log file doesn’t indicate any error.

 * When I use the bypass cache url

   The post appears. But not on the cached URL which is: [https://www.thephonetalks.com/](https://www.thephonetalks.com/)
 * And it is only for this URL. On other places like the post’s tag page and category
   page, the post does appear on the cached version hinting that the cache was auto
   purged. But not for the main page.

 * I don’t think you have set the log verbosity to high as if you did in the log
   you would have seen a big list of array of URLs which I don’t see in the logs
   you have shared.

 * Okay, so I don’t know what happened but it looks like the post appeared on the
   main page as well. I don’t know why there was a delay, but it appeared automatically.
   However, I did have to refresh the page on other devices 1 time to make the post
   appear.

 * Once you update the post it takes a few minute to purge the cache. And the refresh
   on other devices might be due to browser cache. Best to test on incognito window

 * Hello again!
    I posted a couple of more posts to see if they appear on the front
   page after a few minutes. Sadly, they didn’t. I also checked in the incognito
   mode as well as from different laptops and mobile phone devices. I did keep refreshing
   the page 3 times and still no change.
 * I did notice that when I test my front page on GTmetrix, it did show the page
   with the changes made and the posts included.
 * Isn’t there any way to set a timer for auto purge specifically for the homepage
   only, as the posts do appear in other pages after updating?
 * The current settings I have set are as following:
    Cloudflare Cache-Control max-
   age: 1 year Browser Cache-Control max-age: 60

 * You didn’t provided me a valid log of your site with high verbosity enabled so
   that I can see the list of URLs being purged when you update an article.
 * I will suggest you again to disable wp rocket and and other optimization plugin.
   Just keep this one and then update one article and check the log. You should 
   see an array with list of URLs that the plugin is purging when you updated that
   article.

   I only see cache for URL (homepage) not purge URL (homepage). The log is set 
   to high.

   delay JS. And I don’t use any other optimization plugin.

    Sorry for the late reply. Still no success. The homepage doesn’t get cleared
   out. Moreover, I’m getting an error as well when clicking on clear cache for 
   this page option “An error occurred while cleaning the cache. Please check the
   log file for further details.” for the [https://www.thephonetalks.com/?swcfpc=1](https://www.thephonetalks.com/?swcfpc=1).
   How do I even clear a single page cache if there’s the ?swcfpc=1 prefix which
   is set to not cache. The WordPress top bar only appears in the URLs with that
   prefix. Here’s what the log file says:

 * Hi,
    I don’t see any error in the log you have added above. Are you using the
   latest version of the plugin?
 * Also in terms of jQuery, that is not possible as this plugin does not use jQuery
   in any way whatsoever. So the jquery issue might be coming from some other place.
