There is a way, but it involves adding the css for Elementor.
You might want check out our upcoming release, it should keep all formatting of your print target, exactly as displayed.

Wow. it’s so much improved with the 2.0 Beta. Fonts colors text positioning and sizes, all very good.
It’s still struggling to get the two columns working quite right, It initially produces one main column but with the sub columns of each post element intact. Which is hugely improved. If I use a custom scale in the print dialogue of up to 58% it does actually go to the desired two column layout, which is amazing. but there is a large gap/border on the right hand side. This all in A4. Adjusting borders didn’t help.
It’s very close to working 100% out the box though. Impressive, and thanks for replying so quickly.

Next, you’ll need to define some print page css to force the columns to display as desired. Are you able to share a link to the page? We might be of more assistance if we can actually see the display css.
