I’m not sure what happened really. I had just finished configuring the orders I wanted for each category and it looked great; everything seemed to be in working order. Unexplainably, about an hour later, my posts fail to display through some widgets.

Widgets like sliders, carousels, post loops, and so forth just show up as blank. It is weird, because I saw that it was working just fine for about a good hour. Deactivating the plugin restores the displays of the posts out of order, but the issue returns immediately when I reactivate the plugin (even after deleting it).

Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks!

that’s odd. The only thing I can imagine is that you installed another plugin/code that is interfering with the post query filters.

This is the first time I come across this issue.

Unexplainably, about an hour later, my posts fail to display through some widgets.

a change must have occurred inbetween the time it worked and stopped working. Can you recall if you installed any other plugins / functions during that time?

I think I actually just figured out the issue, as well as the solution through a lot of testing. The posts disappear from several widgets utilizing them such as sliders and whatnot. Through testing, I have confirmed this happens to me whenever I change the settings (parametres).

I fixed the problem simply by going into the category ordering interface of the plugin, then checking the bubble that says no (non) and rechecking the bubble that says yes (oui). Each category came back online after I did this one by one. Hope that helps anyone else who runs into this issue.

thanks for the update. I plan a complete rewrite this plugin , so hopefully this kind of issue will disappear in v2.0
