# Make Category Restricted

 * Hi, I want to make a category for posts restricted so only logged in users can
   view and comment. Is there a way to do this? I don’t want the users to have to
   type in the restricted shortcode every time. Here’s my site: lfha.net. I’ve already
   hidden the category by putting it on a page that’s restricted, but someone could
   always send the link out [https://lfha.net/category/resident-forum/](https://lfha.net/category/resident-forum/).

 * There’s no way to restrict an entire category of posts at this time, but that’s
   a great feature suggestion! If you’ve got the premium version, there is a box
   above on the right-hand side of the page, just above the “Publish” button, that
   has an option to restrict an entire post or page from being viewed.
