# Make excerpt clickable

    How do I make the excerpt clickable and linked back to the full post (just
   like the title)? If this is not possible, at least I would like to make the “[…]”
   clickable.

 * Neither the excerpt nor the “more” text can be set as clickable. You can achieve
   that with my plugin [Ultimate Post List Pro](https://shop.stehle-internet.de/downloads/ultimate-post-list-pro/).
   That plugin offers you much more options to create individual posts lists.

 * It’s actually far from impossible.
    All you have to do is to find the ‘ widget.
   php ‘ inside ‘ recent-posts-widget-with-thumbnails\includes\ ‘ and find the end
   link tag ( ). There should only be one of that. Move that to the end of the file,
   just before , and boom, the whole text will become a link.

 * Many users do not want the excerpt clickable. So I will not change the template
   file for that. You can do that, of course. Every upgrade of this plugin will 
   overwrite the changes. In that case please keep your changes ready in a backup.
   Or just think about the other plugin.
