# Make Existing posts episodes?

 * Changed over this weekend from Joomla to WP. We imported all our content from
   the Joomla site; we’d had a dozen to twenty posts for podcasts in the joomla 
   site.
 * Are we able to take those posts, and modify them to be episodes? I’d hate to 
   have to copy every post into an episode post. Not to mention, it’d foul up the
   timeline of postings/podcasts.

 * You can change the post type by using a plugin such as this: [http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/)–
   I didn’t write that plugin, but I’ve used it before and it works very well. Just
   change the post type for your episodes to ‘Podcast’.
