make featured image full width

Hi,

I have added the main image on my homepage as a featured image, however I would like this to be full width.

There is a setting in the theme to make this full width but this changes the width of the entire home page. I just want to change the width of the image.

Any ideas, please?

(Sorry to come back here – the last poster told me to check with my theme developers, which I did but they are really slow to respond and I still haven’t heard anything…. I was hoping one of the great minds in here could help… )
