 * I started using FluentSMTP on one of my websites with ElasticEmail. I have tried
   their plugin but I use FluentSMTP everywhere and I like it better so I went again
   with it.
 * The only thing I noticed is that FluentSMTP asks to configure a “from” email
   address while the Elastic plugin allows this to be empty so the WordPress plugins
   can set these “from” addresses individually. Why isn’t it possible to leave it
   empty?
 * I would be able to set [no-reply@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/no-reply@domain.com?output_format=md)
   on one form and [info@domain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/info@domain.com?output_format=md)
   on another form.

 * Hello there,
 * In Fluent SMTP the from email is required.
 * You can configure as many connections as you need in Fluent SMTP. After that,
   if you use a different From Email on another plugin that will be used. I can
   explain this using an example. Let’s say you have 4 connections in Fluent SMTP
   listed below:
    1. [a@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/a@example.com?output_format=md)–
       Primary connection in Fluent SMTP
    2. [b@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/b@example.com?output_format=md)–
       Fallback connection in Fluent SMTP
    3. [c@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/c@example.com?output_format=md)–
       You set the Custom From Name in Fluent CRM Email Settings
    4. [d@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/d@example.com?output_format=md)–
       You set the custom From Name in a specific Campaign in Fluent CRM
 * In that case, all of your WordPress emails except Fluent CRM will be sent from
   [a@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/a@example.com?output_format=md),
   if this fails to send any emails then [b@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/b@example.com?output_format=md)
   will be used. In addition, all of the emails from Fluent CRM except that specific
   campaign will be sent from [c@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/c@example.com?output_format=md)
   and that specific campaign will be sent from [d@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-from-email-optional/d@example.com?output_format=md).
   You can follow this [documentation](https://fluentsmtp.com/docs/using-multiple-smtp-drivers-with-fluent-smtp/)
   to learn more about this feature. For other plugin, you can ensure that they
   supports configuring the From Email option.
 * Thank you
