# Make Header Image Clickable

 * This is a simple question that’s been asked before, but has **NEVER **been resolved.
 * I’m using F8 Static Theme and just want to make the large header image link to
   the home page. This can be done for ALL the other images on my site.

 * Do I go to Appearance, Editor and change something in the .php templates?

 * My search-fu is fine. Seen all those links, such as
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Designing_Headers](http://codex.wordpress.org/Designing_Headers)
 * and the edit options they offer don’t apply to F8 Static theme but classic.

 * You’re supposed to adapt that example code to suit your theme – preferably via
   a child theme.

 * That method does involve editing your theme’s header.php file but you do have
   to make adjustments for your theme’s header markup and don’t forget – use a child
   theme. As F8 is a commercial theme, you need to seek further support from the
   theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial themes here.
