# Make HTTPS go to a 400 Error

 * I’m wondering how I can add something to `.htaccess` to say
 *     ```
       if https
       die with a 400 error
       ```
   
 * as it is now my network sites don’t have SSL’s, however when HTTPS is forced,
   the browser gives a SSL warning while still showing the site – i’d prefer it 
   to just 404 when incorrectly forced/crawled https://
