 * May I ask how can I modify the plugin such that when i click the marker, it can
   direct to another custom link. Any hints for that will be very useful. Thank 
   You!

 * as of now you can put your link into popup. There is no “out of the box” functionality
   to attach a link directly to the click on a place.
 * If you are familiar with JavaScript you can extend the plugin, but this is not
   so easy.
